Welcome to the income generating units section of Machakos University.

Machakos University Income Generating Units (MksU-IGUs) are commercial projects charged with the responsibility of generating income for the university to meet its financial obligations while providing products and services to the student, staff and local and communities, and the general public.

The units produce and market high quality products and services, utilizing the expertise resident in its professional staff and excess capacity and resources in some of its Departments and Sections. It also provides an avenue for the university to develop and commercialize products from its innovation activities, for the benefit of the society.

Activities of MksU-IGUs are implemented as per the University IGU Policy, under the leadership of the University IGUs Coordinator.
