Machakos University Tree Planting Day

With the negative impact of climate change and environmental threats caused by among other forest destruction, there is a compelling need for all Kenyans to participate in environmental restoration and reforestation. It is in response to this that Machakos University Management adopted 26th April of every year as its tree planting day in the university. This year’s University Tree Planting Day will be held on Thursday, 26th April 2018 at the Machakos University Play Ground from 12.30pm. The University targets to plant 500 trees this year. All staff and students are invited to come and plant trees in the university.
